A new little creature has appeared in our house
He's small and cute and called BearMouse.

He was handmade with love to resemble a bear
But when he was finished, the look wasn't there.

'He's more like a mouse', everyone cried
It really is true, it can't be denied.

But he can't be a mouse there's no tail, can't you see?
So, from that day to this BearMouse he will be.

His friends soon followed not long after,
and when they arrived the house filled with laughter.

(It was a bit hard as they are all soft toys,
so obviously, they don't make much of a noise.)
